The Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board (ONCB) is pleased to announce Pamela DeGeorge, MSN, RN-BC, ONC®, was selected to serve as a Director beginning May 24, 2018. Ms. DeGeorge is a past member of ONCB’s Recertification Committee, a representative group involved in recertification regulation for certificants holding ONCB’s three credentials. Ms. DeGeorge is Clinical Education Specialist II for New Hanover Regional Medical Center, located in Wilmington, North Carolina.
“We are excited to welcome Pam DeGeorge, MSN, RN-BC, ONC to the board. Pam served on the Recertification Committee, supporting orthopaedic certification through this committee’s work. Pam will be a tremendous asset to the board,” said Diane Ryzner, APRN, OCNS-C®, President of ONCB. “Pam has a strong commitment to education. With this commitment to continuing competence, she will help ONCB achieve its vision– Orthopaedic nursing certification is the standard of knowledge and excellence in musculoskeletal health care.”
